The predecessor of PMAneo, PMA (Perfusion Mismatch Analyzer), had been provided as a perfusion image analysis software for research by ASIST-Japan since 2006.
This time, by improving ifs usability and revising functions, it's renewed as "Brain Image Analysis Program PMAneo".
"Brain Image Analysis Program PMAneo" is an application whlch provides Information for making decisions, évaluations, and diagnosis related to pathological conditions using CT Perfusion images (CTP) and
MR Diffusion weighted images (DWI) / Perfusion weighted images (PWI).
PMAneo receives CTP/DWI/PWI images sent from external linkage devices such as CT/MRI modalities, and analyze fully automatically.
It generates various brain image maps. One of the map, a Mismatch Map provides volumes corresponding to ischémie core and hypoperfusion région including penumbra respectively, and also calculâtes mismatch volume and ratio.
Results can be viewed on PACS in the hospital.
By providing useful information quantitatively and visually, PMAneo will support physicians such as for making decision of endovascular therapy.
